Sleek Summer Dressing
I spied this image on Net-A-Porter and it’s one of my favorite summer evening looks. I have the Anine Bing skirt and pair it with an old Matteau top. This summer I’ll add the chunky link necklace I bought on sale and is now really on sale. And, I keep eyeing this Saint Laurent tote, but haven’t gone there — yet.

I just added a black slip skirt to my summer wardrobe and will wear it into the winter with pullovers and boots.
Love the look- very chic!- although I am a bit too old to expose my midriff anywhere but on the beach. I think a similar look in a monochromatic palate of white or blue would also be wonderful as long as the shoes and bag matched color-wise.
I love bold heavy jewelry and recently purchased a 18K necklace similar to what is pictured (I have severe nickel allergies so costume jewelry doesn’t work) and have been wearing it a lot. I think chunky jewelry resonates with both minimal and maximalist looks.

I think that tote would be incredibly cool all year long, great with jeans and a sweater in the winter too. It’s a really special one.

Just went down a rabbit hole of black silk slip skirts (mouthful!). Also not showing my midriff and worried an AB large might not fit. That tote is outstanding because of the strapping for me.
