I picked up the September issue of Vogue France in Paris yesterday. As in NYC, it felt like there were fewer newsstands about. The long dresses — Dior and Saint Laurent — with Chanel slingbacks are a nice combo. Entertaining at home over the holidays comes to mind.

Dear Sue M-I use my library card for digital access to many magazines, including the various foreign editions of Vogue and Elle, and interior design magazines, such as the Architectural Digest, which has many country specific editions. Not quite the same as paper, but I get to enjoy many more images and ideas than I would otherwise.

I like seeing the long dresses for evening. Didn’t care of the “nap dress” trend at all, but these are sophisticated and elegant.
