On My Inspiration board

Here are a few things on my inspiration board: the SS23 Louis Vuitton bag is fun in a good way, I am a felted wool nut and love these Rier pieces in Amanda Brooks’s shop, the grey boots are a chic neutral, I became a huge fan of pink gold in recent years and have my eye on the Repossi ring, and Birkins and cowboy boots together have never been my thing, but these two pictures could sway me.

Birkenstock and Cowboy boots? I say yes! That photo of the woman in leopard is the epitome of chic in my book -nonchalant and cool, the best of high/low fashion.
I didn’t think I would wear cowboy boots on the street but bought a pair from YSL and pulled them out of the box a few weeks ago and I now live in them.
I’m a felted wool fan too — the skirt in cream with brown piping is divine.
Love love all of these boots! I’m on the hunt for some cowboy boots and really like the ones on the bottom to the right. Any idea who makes them? They have a nice fitted look, not bulky at all.
Jenny, if you don’t mind a somewhat taller boot, you could try Ariat’s Heritage western boot. They are comfortable and won’t break the bank, plus they are worn by real riders. They are just streamlined enough to work in some unexpected combinations, particularly as the weather cools.

That photo bottom left is an unbearably cool European woman who never tags her outfits. That exact amount of insouciance is so chic it hurts and I love it. Thank you for mentioning grey tall boots because none of the ones I’ve looked at recently felt right, always seemed too heavy. Perhaps it was the usual black getting in my way so appreciate the reminder.

I love wool felt, but it’s too warm for where I live probably? This jacket is fantastic I think. I recommend R. Soles cowboy boots – they have their own website, reasonably priced and Charlotte Gainsborough wears them.
