Current Uniform
My fall uniform — a fisherman knit sweater and grey skirt (I have quite the collection) — is serving me well. I swap sneakers for slingbacks when need be.

I LOVE this outfit! Chic, elegant, classic, modern, comfortable! You’ve given me great inspiration to finally wear my adidas kicks! And thank you for posting a photo of you. You are gorgeous and fabulous! xo

You are such an inspiration. Chic casual classy
My daughter found this vintage sweater in London. Now that my girls are gone, anything they left behind is fair game in my book….
Fair game for sure! Enjoy that sweater.
Speaking of joyful models! This outing looks both chic and happy. I hope you enjoyed the Arbus photography.
And what a great skirt it is! You look fabulous and so comfortable which is the most chic thing ever.
Love this look! Which Adidas are these?
Adidas Sambas
So fun and chic! I need that sweater !
This is so well put together. Love it!
Wish the weather in LA was cold enough to wear heavier sweaters and wool skirts.
It’s still in the ’90’s.

I agree – anything left behind by my daughters is fair game! You look wonderful – chic, casual, classic!
I love Keep It Chic and I love, love, love your grey skirt and the wonderful double belt! Please, please, please tell me where to get a pleated grey skirt, just like the skirt I work when I was a High School student. Many thanks, Kate
The skirt is Miu Miu. It was shown very low slung, which is not how I wanted to wear it so I bought the smallest size I could find. Thank goodness for the double belts (I have both black and dark brown) because they help keep the skirt at my waist.
So terrific! My favorite fashion attitude has long been ‘School Girl’ style. I’m excited to see you zeroed in on the grey pleated skirt! It was the thing that caught my attention in a previous post on a different topic. Can’t go wrong with classic pieces, no matter our decade. You look very at home in your ‘current uniform.’
