Zebra Print
Fashion folks often claim that animal print is a neutral. Leopard is not my thing, but this Dries Van Noten zebra print definitely is. Ages ago I had a pair of zebra print boots that made even the most minimalist ’90s outfits sing.

Well Dries can make absolutely any print look chic. You’re going to laugh but leopard print is my thing and I always thought zebra was too noisy for me. Love different points of view. This could change my mind about zebra.
Leopard is universally chic, I should give it another go.
Love, love, ….LOVE the zebra print coat!!!
Hey, SANTA!!!
Thank you for brightening my Monday morning!

Totally agree with SueM. Leopard print has always been my go-to pattern to wake up my closet full of black, brown, and camel, but zebra is a bit noisy for me (love that description, Sue!). However, I’ve seen the Dries coat IRL and it is something to behold – just the perfect statement print.
I think the skirt is the piece with the most longevity and styling options. I also prefer animal prints away from the face. BTW – Ann Mashburn has the cowboy boots in the best tiger pattern!
Also fully obsessed with this set, Preston. I love the light fabric as well, given our rise in temperatures.
I love animal print of any kind. A favorite fall dress is a little ‘silk’ shirt dress that is just right with a favorite shoe – JC block heel suede and patent sling backs and classic black Chanel bag. It comes out in September and, although several years old, always gets a nice compliment. I would wear the skirt above in a second! Adding a black turtleneck, and, ideally, boots. Kinda Mod Squad? The great thing about animal print is you don’t age out of it like you might a super feminine floral print.
