Three Easy Pieces
A parka for the bakery run this morning did not make me happy. I look forward to sporting an easy summer dress, sandals, and BIG sunglasses — my squint lines are doing me no favors. #SummerUniform

This weather is terrible, especially on a Saturday. In a word filled with cosmetic procedures, here’s to embracing our laugh lines! Marcheline Isabelle
There’s nothing more effortless than a simple LWD, sandals and perfet sunnies. Love this look, Preston!
Bon dimanche.
Perfect summer outfit. Can’t wait to live in cotton dresses, leather sandals and yes- big sunglasses! Xx Heidi
Gosh yes! Beautiful post, Preston! Looks so fresh and cool in every sense of the word. Planning on making it a summer of dresses! One thing that makes shopping a little challenging this year is the midi lengths for skirts/dresses run a tad too long everywhere. I’m 5’7 but I’m seeing them just a few inches up from the ankle (no man’s land!) rather than the more flattering 1/4 down the calf where it hits just past the widest part of calf. I’m equally bothered by the short/cropped length of tops everywhere too (I like enough fabric to tuck in) …hence my commitment to dresses this summer…
I agree with those who have chimed in before me. Perfect, easy, breezy Summer dressing. Feminine, put together, and not trying too hard. I know I speak for many of us when I say how much I appreciate your eye – thank you for sharing! Hope the weather is better this Sunday for those of you enduring rain yesterday!
Agree with Swan about cropped tops:
Perhaps if I were in my 20’s or 30’s I wouldn’t mind them, but I like to tuck in fabric, too.
Can sympathize with her dilemma with this season’s midi length because of her height;
because I’m short the midi length may fall at just the right “sweet” spot on me.
But if midi on me starts to drift into “granny” length, no thanks. Not for daywear, anyway.
Let’s say yesterday was the last gasp for early spring and now it is late spring/early summer. Today is gorgeous for our long weekend, it may not be scorching but I’ll be happy with the sun . That dress is sold out now but the idea is perfect. Went to A. Emery for sandals similar to Row and got distracted and purchased the Piper. My creaky knees need padded footbeds.
Love the sandals!
