Frame Denim: Jetset Jeans
With two very quick back-to-back trips coming up, I had an ‘aha’ moment after Frame’s Jetset jeans popped up in my Instagram feed for the millionth time — they would fill a travel outfit hole. Most often I wear 5-pocket jeans when I fly, but they are not ideal. These are heavy stretch denim without hardware or pockets and they’re super comfy. I bought bootcut, and skinny to wear under boots.

Ann Mashburn’s Faye cropped flare in denim does this same trick for me.
They are really comfortable and make for a put together look when traveling.
They’re perfect! I’m ordering the white too.
Love the Jetset jeans can you pls share What top and sandals you wearing ?
I love this pant! They look great with everything and are super comfy.
Top is ancient Atlantique Ascoli and sandals are Saint Laurent.
Morning!
I keep seeing these as well.
Are you wearing the crop mini boot?
Thanks!
I was going to email you this morning and ask what you’d decided about the High Sport pants for traveling! This just filled a BIG hole for me and I ordered the black cropped flare. I have a feeling I’ll be buying more – thank you so much.
Yes, mini boot crop.
Fabulous find, Preston! The style on the right is my favorite these days, it’s so flattering and makes me feel put together. You’ve also inspired me to give a pinky ring a try. Have a wonderful day! Marcheline Isabelle
Could you tell me who makes the black sandals
thank you
Love the jeans. I am interested in knowing if those jeans stay up. Elastic bands always slump on me and I am constantly pulling them up.
They have a wide band and will stay up
Thanks and I love the Ascoli. I am still obsessed.
This looks chic and comfortable and (especially with the Grecian-style sandals) very Preston. I’ve never tried Jetset jeans, but they are going on my list! It’s always nice to find clothing made for bend and movement.
Thanks so much for the trim jean recommendation! These will look fabulous with the new Celine boots—
Frame travel jeans are nice, but Spanx denim without hardware, but with strategically placed back pockets wins my vote. Also high wasted and in several winning silhouettes – hard to beat!
So good!
Also wondering if these are truly dry-clean only or if one can dare wash and then dry flat
I have been eyeing these for a very long time but the reviews I read said they fit very small. I am a 31/32 in jeans and have hesitated around sizing. Any feedback from those who have tried them?
To Jane, I purchased a size 2 for my daughter who at the time was a 32 and they fit her perfectly! She also loved the way they looked. You (in my opinion) should definitely give them a try. Super flattering and to the other responder, YES they stay up and do not roll!
Preston, thank you so much for addressing the need for a chic travel uniform! I am dreaming of a day when airports aren’t full of Americans in sweatpants, pajamas, and yoga pants! I ordered, wish me luck!
I’m traveling now and my uniform for every flight day is Ann Mashburn’s Faye straight pant in black, a short sleeve white RL t-shirt, a years-old cashmere zip up with a hood in a greyed green-blue color, my trusty LP Traveler jkt in caramel, and Rothy’s cream sneakers. Stretchy pants, a cozy zip up sweater, a jacket with polish that covers the seat, and knit gloves in my tote. Layers are everything.
Hi did anyone answer Swan from 9/15/23 about whether they can be washed or are really dry clean only? I have the same question.
