Milan Fashion Week SS24
Prada SS24 Collection
I watched the Prada SS24 show live this morning, then dashed out. Now, after looking at the runway images and reading a number of reviews, it’s apparent why many writers quoted Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons talking about the collection in terms of clothes and craft, not ideas. The two looks above are my favorites. And, nary a grey crewneck sweater!
Mrs. Prada always looks great taking her bow and I get a lot of inspiration from her personal style. For example, I’ve always loved satin pumps (they look satin) for day.
The first look is giving Helmut Lang pink dress circe 2000 in a major way! I love a satin pump too and Prada makes the best.
Whenever anyone talks about craft, it’s a good day.
Enjoyed the color play in the show. I was a bit distracted trying to figure out what was oozing from the ceiling…

I adore this collection. The beautiful dress on the left is perfection. And those gorgeous satin shoes!
I absolutely loved those wispy tulle dresses…Mrs. Prada excels at simple femininity.
So so good. And original, love the fabrics, colors, textures…and of course ‘Chapeau’ to Miuccia. Always.
She just really knows what she’s doing. Lovely. Yes, please.
