All Wrapped Up
One of my all-time favorite skirt styles is a wrap, I’ve worn them since I was a child. So, when I find a good one, I give it a try. Gauchere’s lama-wool blend skirt left and below is with the tailor being tweaked. The middle image above is the closest to the true color. I bought the matching turtleneck, too, looks great with jeans. I’m back in Paris week after Thanksgiving and want to try the Soeur skirt — love the dark brown.
I’ve been eyeing this set forever! Thanks for the nudge. I just purchased the turtleneck, and it was 30% off. Woohoo! Please keep us posted on the Soeur skirt.
Love all those examples!
The wrap skirts look great. I haven’t worn one in years, but it may be time to reconsider.
I’m also headed to Paris after Thanksgiving and was wondering whether you would consider a Paris shopping post—not the major designers one finds on Madison Avenue as well, but the smaller French companies that are worth a visit. For example, you have mentioned that Officine Générale’s pricing is better in Paris, so I’ll pop in there, but I slice other ideas. (I know yours is not a travel blog, and I know there are plenty of Paris guides out there, but I do find your views distinct. I also recognize you may not wish your readers to make content requests, so I apologize if the request is an annoying one).
Not annoying at all!
Preston- I am thinking of you because I just bought a black wrap skirt with belt loops from the Frankie Shop, also carry it in charcoal. I bought their belt to go with it and am interested to see the quality..
Where are these beautiful boots from? x
The boots are Bottega Veneta
I love those boots but they are latex – ugh. And $1650.
