List Topper: A Cape
One thing I know for sure is that I will buy the Carolina Herrera FW24 grey cape. And, perhaps for spring, the Loro Piana cape and matching skirt in Harper’s Bazaar France. Mrs. Prada’s cape suit is the pinnacle of chic and I hope she reissues a version of it at some point.

You taught me to LOVE a good cape! The gray is so chic. I still have the plaid Saint Laurent you suggested years ago & it’s a workhorse in my wardrobe.
I love capes! Iirecently ordered a Loro Piana inspired reversible cashmere cape from Piazza Castello with a belt. It’s a knit and not as structured as the gorgeous one above.
I have a beautiful neutral plaid cashmere cape that I’ve never worn. I think it’s because it’s to my knee and feels too serious? I’m going to see about having it shortened. Love the gray CH cape!
The CH cape is divine!
These are just gorgeous! I love that a cape is both town and country! The chic grey wool cape will be a real joy to wear in Paris, too. Another good reason to travel to great cities in the winter!
I have been leaning into Loro Piana in the past years, and I must say, I’m hooked. It’s expensive, but the quality and staying power of everything they do qualifies the price tag. The little ‘crochet’ set is both charming and chic, old school yet modern. Wow!
Love all the options! I especially love the Loro Piano ensemble. Overall, I found many of this line’s Spring 2024 clothes beautiful, wearable and classic.
