Miu Miu Moiré Pumps
So far, 2024 has been the year of the shoe. I’ve bought a number of pairs (returned a few, too) and The Row’s satin pumps are a favorite. So, when I spied these Miu Miu moiré pumps in Harper’s Bazaar, I popped into the store on 57th Street to give them a try. I have not worn them off the rug, yet — still deciding if I will keep them. On another note, I did not keep the Valentino Mary Janes. They run large and the strap was so tight and uncomfortable on my instep, sadly.

I love the moire fabric, but, but, but . . . at a quick glance, they appear to have a very obvious gold tone label mounted on the side of the shoe. For me, that’s a deal breaker. Your Row satin pumps and Chanel Mary Jane’s are perfection.
I tried the Prada satin flat Mary Jane – so cute, but I decided against them because didn’t feel like they’d “wear” well. I went a different direction. The moire seems like it would hold up better. I too turned down the Valentino. Let us know what you decide.
I too ordered the Valentino’s and they do run big! Size down if you order.
