Chloé T-Strap

In a comment on Gnothi Seauton, Sundae referred to her “multiple leather skirts” as staples. This led me down a rabbit hole of black leather skirts where I found the perfect one by Proenza Schouler. On sale, no less. I will try it with flats, like these Chloé T-Straps that I’ve been eyeing. The Valentino’s in brown went back, sadly.

  • I love a t-strap shoe. Elongates the leg, which I sorely need with flats.

  • I’m struggling with the look of strappy ballet flats worn with a skirt… that horizontal line makes an awkward cut between the foot and the skirt hem. Meanwhile ballet flats without straps look just fine. Anyone else or am I just stuck on old fashion rules? These are shoe styles that I adore BTW along with fisherman sandals…
