Books In The Queue
Two writers raved about Susie Boyt’s Loved and Missed, and they were right — it is one of the most beautifully written stories I have ever read. Packed for my next flight to Paris are The Float Test by Lynn Steger Strong, and Clare Leslie Hall’s Broken Country. Three stunning books that I will give to friends this summer — Flower Couture by Cordelia de Castellane, Martha Stewart’s Gardening Handbook, and Brittany Bromley’s Relaxed Elegance. Martha and Brittany are my neighbors so I feel like I’m supporting local talent. Actually, I popped into Brittany’s shop earlier today to ask if she is taking on new clients. Now, if I could only get Martha to give me gardening tips…

Love books in the queue!
Thank you!
Great recommendations. You should’ve bid on the Katonah Elementary School auction- there was a visit/tour of Martha’s gardens!
I looked at Brittany’s website…I fell in love with the photos of the rooms! Brilliant!
Currently reading and loving Creation Lake by Rachael Kushner, now that I am home from Jacksonville and GCA!
I loved Creation Lake! And, I am home, too, from Ponte Vedra.
Loved and Missed is an excellent book!
Thank you for the recommendations. We just gifted the Garden Club Flower Show judges in our city the Martha Stewart Gardening Book at our luncheon. They were delighted.
Martha is in my garden club. We have a flower show next month, this is a terrific idea!
I always love your book recommendations. I’ve read some incredible books lately: Wild Dark Shore and The Correspondent. Currently in the middle of My Friends and loving it.
