Styling Inspiration

The Row’s silk-satin blouse will be a nice alternative to the poplin shirts I usually favor. I picked up this one to tide me over until spring.
A number of years ago, I amassed quite the collection of chunky-knit vests from Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu, and Cecilie Bahnsen. I love the look in the middle from the Prada show and will do my best to replicate it.
Even though I am a hosiery fan, I rarely wear it. The sheer cream stockings are incredibly chic, and again, I will try to replicate the look.

Loving the Prada skirts moment… curious what brand of sheer hosiery you recommend
Last couple F/W’s I started revisiting my stash of Equipment silk blouses so this is right on time. Silk is so great to wear in winter because it’s so thin to layer and keeps you so warm without the bulk. Win-win.
I love hosiery! I think it’s as important for fall/winter as wearing a glove for a finished, polished, properly dressed look. Drawer No. 2 of my Semainier is full of Wolford hosiery – sheer and matte stockings, knee-his, and silk/cashmere socks. My favorite sheer cream stocking is Marmor. It may be discontinued but no doubt there’s a similar color in the range. Launder on the handwash cycle, in a very small laundry bag, hang to dry. They are expensive but wear incredibly well.
Just received my Reformation silk satin blouse. It’s quite nice but long sleeves on me. Are you keeping?
I am not keeping. Too shiny, like I’m going to hit the disco…
Going to wait for the one by The Row
I’m also loving the hosiery shown with the Prada skirts. Can anyone find an exact replica? Is the Wolford Marmour the best option?
