Tod’s Today
When I worked in an office, I kept a drawerful of comfy shoes. Tod’s Gommino Driving Moccasins were a staple. They were great indoors, outdoors not so much — the nubs wore off too quickly and the lack of support was an issue. A few days ago, I popped into a Tod’s store and discovered the City Gommino Driving Shoe, which has a rubber sole — aha! Not as slouchy as the original, but just as good-looking. I bought two pairs for my daughter and a pair is on its way to me.

These are gorgeous. Would you wear them with socks too?
Absolutely
When are Tod’s *not* good?!
Love the city gommino. Have them in black leather and tobacco suede. Very comfortable and I really like the slender toe box.
On my feet right now: Gommini W.Loafer in black patent.
Absolutely love them!!
Wear inside only to keep nice. Have a spare on call.
With or without (lightweight) socks works fine.
Outdoor pair: Same but older pair in black calf.
Get scuffed easily – have taken to great shoe repair place and made them look like new – need to do again.
Agree about nubs – hence the above – too bad because they give such an easy polished look to jeans, etc.
Regardless, this latest version is catnip for my feet!
These are my favourites!
Addicted to Tod’s Gominos, to say the truth.
