Celine SS23: La Collection de Saint-Tropez

Yesterday, Celine released Hedi Slimane’s SS23 collection film shot in Saint-Tropez. Skinny jeans and an oversized cable-knit cardigan? Oh, yes please! Also yesterday, NET-A-PORTER’s SS23 Trends Presentation was held at Hotel Chelsea and hosted by NAP’s brilliant Market Director, Libby Page. Ms. Page mentioned that a black blazer will be a spring must-have, so I’m happy to see two versions in this collection.

  • I’m getting sophisticated y2k vibes from these photos. Maybe it’s the skinny scarf, bag in the crook of the arm combo, or the shorts and long cardigan? Could just be me, but I’m not sure I’m ready for those to come back.

  • Yes, the silhouette seems a bit Ghesquiere for Balenciaga. And the relaxed cardigan over skinny jeans would be so comfortable!

  • Only navy blazer in spring or summer, very rarely black silk velvet blazer only in the evening, but the oversized cable-knit cardigan looks great. I wear mine regularly now, could be too warm for warm months.
