To Hear, Read, & See
I could not buy a ticket fast enough for Thirty Are Better Than One, an exhibition of over 100 artworks by Andy Warhol at the Brant Foundation. Lunch at Il Buco afterward with friends will make for a perfect day. My book club is reading Paradise Now: The Extraordinary Life Of Karl Lagerfeld. All of us knew or worked with Karl and William captured KL perfectly – a very good read. Next in the queue is Marcel Proust: The Seventy-Five Folios — all previously unpublished works. Lana Del Rey’s Did You Know There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd is, in my opinion, one of her best. If you’re a fan, this is a fantastic album. And, I just bought tickets to Depeche Mode at Madison Square Garden October 28. Ideally, I’d like to see them in Copenhagen June 27, but I’ll be in Wyoming — would’ve been fun.

Always the best recommendations Preston! Buying Proust book now and already into KL book which is indeed fantastic! TY
Thanks so much for sharing your current cultural cues. Your writings and observations always bring me back to the premise that living an authentic life truly leads to a life well-lived! Ooh – enjoy all of the fun events ahead!
Going to see Depeche Mode in Germany this summer with our two college boys. Might be the pinnacle of my parenting!
Thank you – as always, wonderful recommendations and I can’t wait to book my tickets for the Warhol exhibit! We are headed to Il Buco next week & looking forward to trying it for the first time.
Nashville Depeche Mode tickets for October purchased a few weeks ago. So looking forward to this show with my hubby and 24 and 27 year old boys. We are all huge fans!
Lana’s BEST album to date, and that’s saying something! An exceptional songwriter she is and the lyrics and music of her latest iare just divine. Add to that a bit of family history in this album!
I just watched the The Mysterious Mr Lagerfeld documentary last night ( on BBC iPlayer), also very good
