I love this dress from the Chloé PF22 collection. Granted, underpinnings would be a challenge, however, once solved it’d be spectacular. These Gucci sunglasses are oversized, but not extremely so. They are very lightweight and comfortable — I’ve been wearing them a lot. And, this conditioning eye & lash cleanser is going to get a test drive.
Maybe not quite Very Peri, Pantone’s color for 2022, but in the same vein. This The Row PF22 look is lovely and caught my color-challenged eye.
It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Chanel shoes. These are from the Métiers d’Art collection and the top pair are exactly what I’ve been looking for — a proper day shoe that I’d wear forever.
I’ve had my eye on this Proenza Schouler halter dress since I spied it in the PF21 collection images — the crepe and bouclé-tweed combo speak to me. When I love an evening piece, I buy it — evening wear rarely goes out of style. And the dress is on sale, no less. I’ll wear it with these Jennifer Behr crystal earrings and my Manolo Blahnik Turgimod T-bar pumps.
The Celine Summer 2022 collection film, shot in Nice, France, is packed with covetable clothes and accessories — this is my favorite Celine collection by Hedi Slimane, yet. And, the shoulder-length hair is perfection.
This Wales Bonner dark denim skirt suit is very smart. Love the Safari-style jacket and top stitching on the skirt hem — super chic and on sale.
My mother was an ardent hostess and entertained frequently. She loved wooden plates and platters, especially for winter gatherings. I’ve taken a page out of her book and started my own collection. A pine scented candle, hand-printed tablecloth, rattan breakfast tray, and snuggly boots make the short, cold days cozier.
With today being the first day of Hanukkah and the first Sunday of Advent, many folks begin their holiday festivities. Here’s to celebrating with gusto! xp
I’ve given up on trying to master a whole Thanksgiving turkey (yesterday’s was particularly awful) and moved on to planning Christmas. If I had my druthers, I’d ask Santa for something spectacular from Chanel. The coat topped my fall wish list, but my size sold out immediately. That’s okay, these suede & grosgrain flats are divine and the Bouton de Camélia earrings definitely tick the spectacular box.
